My name is Sam Lumsden and I've been a professional drummer and educator since 2005.

My day to day work as a drummer includes performing, recording, notating, tutoring and coordinating music education projects for schools and organisations. 

​

My career has, and continues to be, a very diverse and interesting series of events and experiences.

- Touring Japan with Hollywood rock band Falling Doves.

- Performance, Recording & Transcription work for theatre productions, touring shows and major international television shows.

- Recording music featured in the hit US Cartoon Network series "Stoked".​

- Endorsement & Affiliation deals with Beier Drums, Evans Drum Heads, Porter & Davies, Vratim and Cympad.​

- 1st place in the UK section of the Shure International Drum

  Mastery Competition.​
