Macduff Summer Holiday 2020

Pathways to Music & Media

3 Day Creative Industry Workshops

NOTE: This project is only open to young people aged 12-18 years old, who are in full time education in Aberdeenshire (school or home schooled)

APPLICATION DEADLINE: TBC

Presented by First Class Drums, these workshops are provided free of charge through Live Life Aberdeenshire's Youth Music Initiative, funded by Creative Scotland.

 

Musicians, Audio Engineers, Artists/Graphic Designers, Photographers & Videographers

 

We are looking for young people aged 12-18 who would like the opportunity to gain some skills related to work within the creative industries.

 

No experience necessary.

 

Opportunities available include:

- Write and record an original song 

- Release the song on CD and all major streaming services

- Play your musical instrument in a band

- Singing & developing vocal ability

- Learn how to use professional audio recording studio equipment

- Learn photography and videography skills

- Work with a professional graphic designer to design & produce a commercial quality CD and booklet

- Learn from industry professionals about building a career in the creative industry

- All equipment & lunch each day is provided

- FREE OF CHARGE!

 

Workshops will be held in Macduff during the summer holidays at Macduff Arts Centre.
